AFTER TRYING UNSUCESSFULY TO LOCATE A REPLACEMENT TANK TOR AN AMERICAN STANDARD TOILET I PURCHASED FROM LOWES 3 YEARS AGO. I called plumbing at HOME DEPOT # 6669 ANTELOPE ROAD SACRAMENTO CA 95842.
The sales person known to me as Frank B. was very understanding and informed me they had exactly what I wanted. When I arrived at the store he helped me locate what I needed. He double checked the box and found someone had swiped some parts & resealed the box.
By rechecking he found an unopened box containing what I required to repair the toilet.
Frank B. has restored my faith in at least that HOME DEPOT

| Walmart | Wal-mart in Martinsburg WV does NOT measure up.
The bathrooms are never clean. There are rarely shopping carts in the store. Nothing is provided to sanitize the carts. Maybe they should spend less money on smiley stickers and a bit more of something to sanitize the cart with!
The bakery....I ordered a cake today for my son'e FIRST birthday and it was nothing like I asked. When I made a complaint, the manager told me they were not professionals. Enough said!
I refuse to order another cake EVER from Wal-mart!
This applies to the Martinsburg, WV Wal-Mart. The other locations always have clean bathrooms and shopping carts. |
| 24 Hour Fitness | Don't drop a dime
What can I say? 24 Hour Fitness either doesn't care what I think, or are stupid enough to think I don't listen when I'm there. I've had the same great trainer there for over a year. (Ryan) He supported me through thick and thin. He didn't subscribe to their pressure sales tactics. His main concern was my health and happiness. After I bought over $2000 dollars with this young man, his manager let him go because of his poor supplement sales. Shame on you 24 Hour. You just showed me, and the other clients of Ryan's what your main priority is. Ironically, I absolutely refused supplements. And worse, 24 Hour Fitness has clubs that don't even sell supplements. It's time, folks, to reinvest in people and small clubs. 24 Hour is only concerned about $$$$$--not their people. |

| Prix Body Adornment | Misha... what can I say about you that would accurately express how great this whole experience is and how happy I am to have you working on me.
Misha is a spectacular artist. We did 2 consultations before even starting to lay down any ink. This was my first tattoo working with an artists - I had always come in a said "I want stars on my arm" or something to that effect. I brought in the ideas I had for Misha and where I wanted my piece done and she sketched and gave me ideas and let me know which of mine wouldn't work, and most importantly why they wouldn't work where I wanted them. I understood the process and that was important to me.
I love that during the consult she let me know who in the shop would be good for certain things I might want in the future (Fine lines, lettering, etc. vs. the colorful, almost cartoonishly beautiful work she does herself).
Is it pricey? Yeah but this is art. I will carry this art with me, ON me, for the rest of my life. Would I drop a grand on that? Hell yeah.
I have been in for 2 sessions so far and have a 3rd coming up soon. I think everyone I have met at Zulu has just been amazing and I look forward to going back asap. Thanks for everything!! |
